Every brand starts somewhere. Ours starts in Connecticut, even though we're based in Tennessee.

Our founder grew up in Connecticut, where fall means color-changing hillsides, where the coastline turns sharp and gray in winter, and where home is measured in stone walls and small towns. Life eventually carried him south to Tennessee, but it never carried Connecticut out of him.

So he built a brand to keep that connection alive.

The name is a nod to Nathan Hale, Connecticut's own, and one of the earliest names tied to the American idea of liberty. Legend has it that facing his final moment, he didn't ask for mercy. He simply wished he had more than one life to give. That's the spirit we build into everything we make: rooted, resolute, and proud of where it comes from.
